From the very beginning, we’ve been taking the best of all worlds.
We never wanted to sound like anyone else – so we created our own sound.
That wasn’t always easy.
For the dark wave scene we were too pop.
For the pop audience we were too dark.
Rock’n’roll people found us too electronic –
while electronic lovers noticed the guitars.
But that’s exactly who we are.
And it always has been.

People often say it’s the voice that defines the band’s unique sound. Interestingly, Mel never intended to become the singer in the early days. But when no suitable vocalist could be found, he stepped in — and the rest is history.
